SYNOPSIS

The Masked Marauder is a charismatic burglar, often relishing his ability to escape from law enforcement and decorating his own home with stolen items from previous heists. Local philanthropist Isaac Mayweather has just launched political campaign and will be out of town attending a fundraising gala to raise money. When the Masked Marauder reads about Isaac's upcoming trip, he hatches a plan to target the wealthy politician's estate--Mayweather Manor.

However, while rummaging through Isaac's personal office, the Marauder stumbles upon a dark secret that the philanthropist would prefer to be kept hidden from the world. What's worse? Isaac is on his way home from the gala, and the Marauder is stuck inside the manor. What will the Masked Marauder choose to do? Will he escape with his riches and let Mayweather's secret go undiscovered? Or will he learn to do the right thing? Find out as the two face off in this thrilling short film.

A genre mash-up that draws inspiration from heist films like OCEAN'S 11, action/adventure flicks like DEADPOOL, and murder-mysteries like KNIVES OUT, THE MASKED MARAUDER tells the story of a petty burglar and a corrupt politician who find themselves caught in a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
